Gallery Re-org

Since we can export photos from iPhoto with IPTC keywords to Gallery2, I decided to remove the static sub-albums in the gallery. All of the existing photos should be tagged with at least a month, year, and some other general tags to help find items quickly by subject or event. All new items will be tagged via keywords during future exports from iPhoto. Hopefully, I can hack some kind of boolean search into the Gallery Core search (or maybe there is a solution for this already?). For now, you can only search on single keywords or click on the tags shown in the tag cloud.

I didn’t realize until this morning that the feeds for this site broke when I added some custom widget code. They should be fixed now. Everyone should be able to follow rigsb.net using their favorite feed reader now. Just use this link for posts and this one for the comments feed.

I enjoy learning and working with new features, widgets, and other things technical. I decided that I should probably document some of the projects I work on to refer to later. I also thought others might find that sort of information useful. So, I have setup rigsbwiki to capture my hobby which happens to pay well.

Welcome to our family blog! As you all know, our family will be growing within the next few days/weeks and we wanted to have a place that you could visit and see how things are going with us. We may not update every day or week, but we will update as often as we can! As part of the family/friend network you may even find yourself “featured”!
